Silicone Pastry Mat

Rolling dough straight on the counter means flour everywhere and dough that sticks anyway. This silicone mat gives you a clean, non-stick surface to work on. Dough doesn't cling to it, so you use far less flour, and the printed rings and rulers let you roll a crust or a pizza base out to exactly the size you need.

The underside grips the counter so it doesn't slide while you knead, and when you're done the whole mess wipes off and the mat rolls up to store. It's a prep mat, so a couple of rules: don't cut on it with a knife or pizza wheel, which scores the silicone, and check whether it's oven-safe before you bake on it.
